Our Story

Blissora didn’t start in a boardroom.

It started with a very real, very common thought: “Why do heels have to hurt?”

We’re Monishka and Bharti (turning our college dream in Jaipur into a real company for India), and like most women, we loved dressing up. Big days, long nights, celebrations… all of it. But what we didn’t love? The silent deal we were expected to accept, look good, but be uncomfortable. We weren’t okay with that anymore.

The Beginning

Blissora began during a college accelerator program, three months of learning, building, and honestly, figuring things out from scratch. Somewhere between lectures and late-night thinking, the idea clicked: What if your heels could adapt to you, instead of you adjusting to them? That one question changed everything.

From Idea to Obsession

What started as curiosity quickly turned into obsession. Convertible heels weren’t just an idea anymore, they became a problem we had to solve.

We researched everything. We tested random mechanisms (yes, even things like door stoppers). We built, failed, tweaked, and rebuilt. Nothing was rushed. Nothing was “good enough.” If it didn’t feel right, it didn’t stay.

The Breakthrough

After multiple iterations, we finally cracked it, a mechanism that lets you switch from heels to flats in seconds. No pain. No drama. Just… ease. That’s when Blissora stopped being an idea, and became something real.

Building Something Bigger

Along the way, Khushi joined us, bringing fresh energy, new perspective, and ideas that pushed us forward in ways we didn’t expect. What started as one person’s idea became a team building something meaningful.

The Leap

From pitching in front of mentors to winning our first grant — every step has been unreal, a little scary, and completely worth it. But more than the funding, what mattered was this: people believed in what we were building.

What Happens Now

We’re not rushing to sell you something. We’re testing. Listening. Letting real women try Blissora and tell us the truth. Because this isn’t just about innovation, it’s about getting it right.

Blissora isn’t just a pair of heels. It’s:
